I used these two recipes for the cookies. But as for the icing, i used melted white & dark chocolate instead of the royal icing since I’m not really fond of using raw eggs.
I also tried to make pink sheep by adding food coloring to the melted white chocolate. i also added raspberry jello to the melted mixture to add some flavor. Although it didn’t turned out the way i wanted but it tasted really good. yum!
As for the cookie cutter, Here’s what you’ll need:
- get a metal sheet or a metal ribbon from any hobby store ( I got mine from Barakat in the Gardens st.)
- a screw or a double sided tape or a soldering iron (or anything you’d think of that is suitable enough for fastening the two ends of the cutter)
- pliers
- Bizer Bateekh sheep-cookie-cutter template (right click to save link as)
Instructions:
Using our sheep template, bend the metal strip using the pliers by tracing the shape in the template, then fasten the two ends with a screw or a good double sided tape, i used a soldering iron that i had since uni and never actually used until now. beware not to cut your fingers if the metal sheet you’re using is sharp.
Enjoy the recipes and Adha Mubarak!
